If you are participating in the Apple iPhone consignment parts program you can manage these parts in CheckIn in order to save time and keep these parts separate from your regular CheckIn inventory. 

To use this feature here are a few things to know:

- To activate: Admin>Comapny>Global setting>GSX  and enable "Use Consignment Tracking”

- To enable a product as a consignment part you have to click box at bottom left of a product card called Consignment Product? (this means you ALSO want it to be a Consignment product- its now both Consignment and non Consignment)

- Status Tab now shows Consigned Adjustments 

- Serial # Tab now shows Consignment, Consignment Used and Returned

- When creating PO to submit a GSX Repair, if the check box “Use Consignment Part” is selected for a GSX repair in the CheckIn GSX window - you will see Consignment in red on the PO indicating that you told GSX you are using a Consignment part.


Receiving Parts:

- Create new PO then add Apple Service as the suppler and go to Option tab and select Consignment PO to trigger these items to be added as Consignment inventory then Post to receive PO as usual 


Apple recalling parts:

- Do a normal return PO 

- Options Tab to select box call “Consignment Return to Supplier

- Posting PO will send return info to Apple


Reporting:  There is a new report called  Consignment Stock  found under the Inventory Report section.
